Santiago is the capital of Chile and is in the biggest big city area of Chile, which is called Gran Santiago. Chile is known for mountains and the city Santiago is located on a 570-meter altitude. Because of its big economic growth, the last two decades, the city has become one of the most modern metropolises in Latin America. It has big skyscrapers, modern architecture, and good transport infrastructure.
Apart from all this and the beautiful nature with stunning mountains that surrounds the city, they have a lot of expats. They attract many expats due to the many job opportunities and international environment. They have all the big city attractions that you might see other places, like a variety of good restaurants, vibrating nightlife, and historical places. One big attribute that they have here is that you can go to the beach, but the next day go skiing in the mountain. It is a warm climate in general, but when you go to the Andes mountains it will be snow.
