Nigeria is located in West African and has over 200 million inhabitants, making it the most populated country in Africa. It also has biggest economy in Africa, with a GDP slightly over $480 billion. The Nigerian Naira is the official currency in the country and is equivalent of approximately 0.0022 Euro. Nigeria has a tropical climate featuring both dry and wet seasons depending on where in the county you live.

Nigeria is home to more than 250 ethnic groups speaking 500 different languages, some major examples being Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo. English is however the Nigeria’s official language and is especially spoken in the urban areas of the country, making daily life convenient for any English-speaking expat that wishes to work in Nigeria.

More and more countries are recognizing the potential of Nigeria which has brought plenty of international working opportunities. The cost of living in Nigeria is significantly lower than in Europe on average, which gives you great comfort when working in Nigeria. The pace of life here is also slower, meaning a great work-life balance.
