Dundalk is a city in Ireland located on the north part, close to Northern Ireland. The city dates back to 3500 years before Christ and has a lot of history since then. This makes it one of the most historical places in Ireland. They have a beautiful landscape of greens and historical building like, Medieval castles, ruined monasteries, high crosses, and cairns. Religion has a big impact on the history of this city, of course Christianity as mentioned above, but also Norse mythology. Ireland was one of the places the Vikings visited many times, and it has it marks from that era.
In modern times Dundalk is known for its great social scene and vibrant nightlife.
