What does this role involve?
You'll utilize your expertise daily to serve dairy farmers. Your workdays will involve servicing and maintaining both conventional and automatic milking systems for the client. Moreover, you'll be readily available to instruct and advise end-users on the use of the client's products. It's an independent role with a lot of variety. One moment, you could be troubleshooting a malfunction, and the next, conducting routine maintenance on a milking installation. We are available 24/7 for our clients to resolve any issues. As a service technician, you'll participate in scheduled standby services. Your work area primarily covers the East-Netherlands region and adjacent areas.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on conventional and automatic milking systems.
Resolve customer malfunctions—a 24/7 service.
Install new systems.
Instruct and advise dairy farmers on using the client's products.
Independently manage tasks with team support.
What we're looking for:
We seek a skilled colleague who is technically proficient, adaptable, and quick-thinking.
Completed vocational education (MBO) level 3 or 4 in a technical field.
Ease in communicating with customers and colleagues.
Knowledge of dairy farming technology or experience as a service technician is advantageous.
Willingness for standby services.
Patient and customer-friendly attitude.
B driving license; BE is a plus.
Interest in the agricultural sector.
Fluency in Dutch; proficiency in English and German is helpful but not necessary.
Preferably residing in the East-Netherlands/Overijssel or Gelderland region.
