We are looking for a Proposal Engineer to join a global technology leader in Lisbon, Portugal!
This position focuses on translating customer requirements into high-quality fire safety technical solutions and ensuring seamless coordination from proposal through project handover. What will you do?
Translate customer requirements into technical fire safety solutions using high-quality systems.
Design and quote for fire alarm and evacuation system installations, upgrades, and expansions in complex facilities like hospitals, hotels, and industrial sites.
Analyze technical feasibility of security solutions and collaborate with sales and execution teams to complete proposals.
Seek innovative alternatives in non-standard cases in consultation with product managers.
Collaborate with account managers and financial admins to create comprehensive proposals.
Ensure accurate handover of approved projects to Project Managers and Software Engineers.
Candidate profile
MBO diploma minimum, with HBO working/thinking level in electrical or electronic engineering preferred.
Experience in fire safety or security installations; certifications like BMI, OAI, or VOL VCA are a plus.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems; familiarity with extinguishing systems, ASD, or linear temperature detection is beneficial.
Proficient in Dutch and English; capable with MS Word, Excel, Visio, and basic network/software tools.
Strong ownership, analytical and conceptual thinking, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure with a collaborative mindset.
