Work In Ireland

In Ireland, sometimes also called “the emerald isle”, the economy is starting to take off again after the recession and it is fast becoming a center for many international companies. One of the biggest reasons why a lot of multinational companies are keen on setting up offices in Ireland is the low corporate tax rate. The minimum wage in Ireland is around 1600 euros a month, and the income tax rate is progressive, around 20% if you make under 34000 euros a year. As an EU citizen you do not need a work permit to work in Ireland, but it is advised, that you have employment organized before you move.

Ireland is in the perfect position for travelling, it is one of the closest countries to the US in Europe and you can fly to most European destinations in just a couple of hours! The island itself is so small that there is always another place to escape to for a weekend, with an hour or two of driving. Ireland has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world and multiple stunningly restored castles to visit. In every city there are all different kinds of pubs around every corner, just pick what kind of an atmosphere you’re in the mood for and you will find a place exactly for that. And did you know, Ireland provides some of the best surfing in the world!

Ireland is very special in so many ways. They have their own language, some of the most famous literature, theatre and folklore in the world. Their national day has taken over the world and St. Patrick’s Day is now celebrated in several locations around the globe!
