We are currently looking for a German-speaking Customer Advisor for our partner company in the insurance sector, ready to kick-start their career in Lisbon. As the first point of contact for customers, you will demonstrate outstanding communication skills and provide friendly, solution-focused advice. You’ll handle inquiries professionally, ensuring they never escalate, and always find a satisfactory resolution for your customers.

What will you do?

  • Handle German-speaking inbound customer service via phone, chat, and email for various insurance topics

  • Respond to emails and send documents, information, and contracts

  • Document relevant case details in the internal ticketing system

  • Process claims or cancellations as requested by customers

  • Archive completed cases electronically

  • Update customer data or make necessary amendments

  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction

  • Appropriately handle customer escalations and document the process precisely

  • Represent the company’s values and maintain a strong reputation

Candidate profile

  • German proficiency at C1/C2 level or native fluency

  • English proficiency at B2 level

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in troubleshooting and solving customer problems (preferred)

  • Patience and empathy to understand customer queries correctly

  • Ability to handle all data and personal information with the utmost confidentiality

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a great team player

  • EU passport or valid residency permit
