HR Manager - Your responsibilities

We are seeking an HR Manager to lead the HR function at our newly established entity. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in setting up and managing all HR activities for the new site including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with local regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities (% of Time) 

  • Set up and lead all HR activities for the new site in Latvia including developing HR policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
  • Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to employees at the new site fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Latvian employment laws and regulations, including labor contracts, working hours and employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with global HR teams to share best practices, align HR strategies, and implement global initiatives at the Latvia site.
  • Provide leadership and support to the HR team onsite, fostering their professional development and growth.
  • Stay informed about local employment laws and industry trends, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and compliance

 

Qualifications & Requirements
General

  • Bachelor´s degree in Human Resources or related field. Master´s degree preferred.
  • Min 5 years experience in HR Management roles in an international organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations with experience in ensuring compliance.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, performance management and talent development.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Fluency in English and Latvian languages for effective communication with local and global teams
