Are you the new Hotel Senior Development & Key Account Manager in Germany we are looking for based in Budapest?


Have you built up an extensive knowledge about the German tourist industry in a similar position? Do you have a proven successful track record in developing hotel partnerships, holiday package product developments, bundled offers for short term holiday breaks that are competitive, attractive, and delivering top sales results (or similar experience from hotel hospitality and or travel tech industry)? Then come on board as the new Senior Development & Key Account Manager being responsible for hotel portfolio development, including purchasing very competitive short term bundled holiday break offers in Germany. You will join a high performing international team and be part of the top motivated company all working together to grow the business rapidly across Europe.

Job Content:


You will in cooperation with the team be responsible for managing and developing the German hotel portfolio. This includes i.e.:
•    Country/regional development plans concerning hotel revenue, product offerings, and hotel portfolio developments
•    Identify, qualify, and close contracts with new Hotels and renewal of agreements with existing Hotel Partners
•    Hotel Key Account Management including product development, growth goals setting, delivery and campaign offers

      (early birds, last minute, etc.)
•    Lead hotel pipeline development effectively via funnel development from prospect, qualification, offer(s), negotiation, closing, online and KAM
•    Develop, set up and execute growth campaigns with the aim to develop hotel portfolio, products, and offerings
•    All activities to be documented, monitored, and managed via CRM system, including setting up contracts, website content, products and offers
•    Lead and participate in daily sprint meetings by setting individual goals, daily/weekly pipeline, and funnel activity/action plan
•    Ongoing Key account management and administration of hotel portfolio including daily follow-up and problem solving
•    Ongoing management of monthly, quarterly review, follow up, development plans, activities, goals, and milestones

Experience that will support your success: 


•    Proven work experience min. +5 years as Sales Manager, Purchase / Key Account Manager
•    Strong and proven track record in delivering results in previous positions.
•    Experience within International Hotel Hospitality/Tourist (multi-cultural) and or from Online Travel Agency/Tour Operator is preferred.
•    Demonstrable experience in designing and delivering growth strategies (hotel acquisition, product, and KAM development) 
•    Strong experience in relationship management and sales/purchase and key account management 
•    Communication inquiry and advocacy as well presentation skills
•    Know how in terms of best practice, tools and techniques concerning sales/purchase and key account management
•    High competency and skill level in terms of analytical and numerical capabilities
•    Must be fully fluent verbally and in writing in German and fully fluent in English.
•    Very good analytical, innovative, creative, organisational, delivery and troubleshooting
•    Understanding and knowledge of the hospitality (hotel) travel and or travel tech industry
