Pharmaceutical

Back to Disciplines

The pharmaceutical industry works to discover, develop, produce, and market drugs/medicines to cure or vaccinate patients, as well as alleviate their symptoms. They must follow some regulations regarding the patenting, testing, safety, efficacy, and marketing of drugs.

On the other hand, Pharmacovigilance is what ensures safety and effectiveness. Pharmacovigilance aims to collect information about safety in clinical use and shorten the time until the safety profile of a drug is well known.

We do not usually have to many positions within this industry, but we have a few positions, and it could become more in the future.

The Pharmacovigilance Associate position we have oversees the quality of the entry of source document information, document feedback in a quality tracker, and maintain the quality data for each case, as well as analysing defect trends to always ensure quality. The documents and data will be medical, pharmaceutical, or patients’ reports. Apart from this, the pharmacovigilance affiliates are responsible for translating using their native language some of the reports, feedback, and data.
