Job description

We are looking for fresh graduates and candidates with media and journalism exposure for our international partner in Gdańsk, Poland! You will be a be part of AI-infused disruptive technology on social media and other online platforms.

As a news analyst you will comb through the twitter firehose and identify breaking events before other agencies pick up a story. Our work culture is diverse and provides a range of training in enhancing your approach to news and on how to draw distinction between news and noise!

Your work can be applied to multiple sectors including corporate, finance, news, government, and any incident that impacts public safety.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Translate German language content into English
  • Audit and programmatically apply business rules for data validation
  • Monitor and analyze real-time data from multiple datasets
  • QA algorithmic data streams to improve the quality of the dataset output
  • Participate in UX user research studies for internal QA tools
  • Stay up-to-date on new policies, processes, and procedures impacting the QA workflow

 

Requirements:

  • 0-1 years of work experience, preferably as a reporter covering breaking news, or working in digital media, or educational equivalent
  • Proficient level of German (min. C1)
  • Good command of English (min. C1)
  • Degree preferably in Journalism, Communications, English, political/social sciences or related fields
  • Strong organizational skills, comfortable managing multiple competing priorities
  • Goal and result-oriented mindset
  • Professional proficiency in another foreign language a plus
