why a recruitment agency needs you to have either a European passport or a work permit ?

Hello everybody,

Today we would like to explain why a recruitment agency needs you to have either a European passport or a work permit for one of the European countries.

What is the European Union?

The European Union (EU) is political and economic, consisting of 28 member states that are subject to the obligations and the privileges of the membership.

The EU countries are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.

Every member state is part of the founding treaties of the union and is subjected to binding laws within the common legislative and judicial institutions. These countries agreed on specific laws regarding work force so they could benefit from this treaty.

A citizen of one of the countries of the Europe Union automatically benefits from the agreement and is free to go everywhere within Europe, and hence can work in any European country because of the European Passport.

Citizens of countries that are not part of the Europe Union will need a VISA or working permit, which takes time (up to a year) and effort to be obtained.

As a recruitment agency, we are helping companies to find candidates for many positions in Europe. A recruitment agency usually will try to find candidates that can start working within 2 months. The positions we work with at Multilingual Jobs Worldwide are filled fast, and obtaining a European passport or working permit takes too much time as the position will be filled. It is therefore impossible for us to send candidates to our clients that do not have a European passport or a work permit.

We want to ask for your understanding.
Best regards,
The Multilingual Jobs Team
